Japanese Tickling Art

Drawing #22

Two women tickling a third with feathers

This is a drawing done by an artist who's work has appeared regularly in one of the Japanese S&M magazines. He always uses three colors -- black, white, and red -- and always draws women who look European but with a tinge of Asian features, dressed as in the Victorian era. Youngish, say mid to late teens, very sweet and pretty. One is always being picked on by the others, subjected to all manner of S&M situations than usually involve dildos and whips.

In one scene they are in a garden, standing around a swing. The swing's flat, wooden seat is covered with sharp spikes, and protruding from the center is a huge, ferocious looking dildo. One of the girls has her wrists chained to the swing's chains, and is standing in front of the seat. Her expression is mournful, and tears are streaming down her face. One of the other girls is lifting the skirt of her beautiful dress and we see that her ass is covered with red dots. In another scene, this one indoors, one of the girls is naked and down on all fours. She is being spanked by on of the other girls, while another girl spanks a doll tied up with ribbons. Another interesting scene shows one of the girls kneeling on a pillow with her arms tied behind her back. Her face is twisted in agony. All around her are similar looking pillows, each with a differently shaped, wicked looking dildo protruding from it. One of the other girls is seated on a chair and appears to be directing the action, while the other girls are carrying more dildo pillows.

Here we see the unlucky one bound to a post in a dungeon, mostly naked and with her arms up over her head. Two other girls are tormenting her with feathers. I'm not sure it shows, but the girl being tickled is crying.

Despite the fact that this drawing is quite different from others in this collection, it continues to demonstrate a fundamental difference between American, or might I even say Western, and Japanese erotic tickling art. Americans prefer to depict the person being tickled laughing, while the Japanese prefer expressions of agony and suffering.
